WHY N8N
Why n8n, Not a Closed Platform
n8n is open source and self-hosted, so it runs on infrastructure you own, not a third-party cloud with its own uptime dependencies and per-task pricing. That matters at volume: a system with hundreds of executions a day does not get cheaper to run on a per-task platform, it gets more expensive. n8n's pricing does not scale against you the way task-based tools do.
It also fits how I build. The extension-not-capture principle means a system should extend what you already run, not lock your data inside a new vendor's walls. n8n connects to your CRM, your APIs, and your AI models directly. Nothing about it requires you to migrate off the tools your team already knows.
